History
A great story often begins with a wonderful encounter. This is certainly true of the THEO story, which arose from the shared desire of two Belgian opticians, Wim Somers and Patrick Hoet, to offer their customers new styles. Twenty years ago, glasses were seen primarily as a necessity and rather dull. These two talented designers went on to shake up the world of eyewear with colourful frames in surprising shapes. The Theo brand offers a wide range of styles to suit everyone’s needs and tastes. Whether you’re looking for classic, timeless glasses or bolder, more eccentric frames, you’re sure to find something to your liking amongst the brand’s collections.

At THEO, nobody takes themselves too seriously, and this philosophy has guided every decision made since the brand’s inception. The frames, which are sometimes asymmetrical, give the impression of being unfinished. Each frame is designed with meticulous attention to detail and a constant pursuit of aesthetic excellence. The shapes, colours and materials used are carefully selected to create glasses that stand out and reflect the personality of those who wear them. One of the most striking features of the Theo brand is its determination to push the boundaries of creativity. The brand’s designers are not afraid to experiment with new shapes, colour combinations and materials to create unique and original frames. Every Theo eyewear collection is a true work of art, combining style, comfort and quality. In addition to its innovative design, the Theo brand places great importance on the quality of its products. Each pair of glasses is handcrafted using high-quality materials, such as acetate, titanium and stainless steel. The frames are designed to be durable and robust, whilst offering optimal comfort to the wearer.
